Fair competition

Neutral ground.

Way back when, people got together to sell their crops and stuff they made on "The Commons" or call it what it is, common ground.  Every body left their weapons in the forest with some body watching them, then they traded their goods fair and square.

Every body came out ahead that way.

That is why we come to AOLA, cause we are supposed to get a chance to swap info, fair and squure, and every body comes out ahead that way.

Problem was with The Commons, bandits found it real easy pickings.  So, The Commons gave way to "The Fair," where every body kept their swords and agreed to keep good word with all the other traders.  They hired judges to decide whose farm stuff was the best, and that would get the best prices.

It is as American as apple pie.

Now we're getting into the fair season, and every body has put together snap books of what they done, with all the before and afters of their work, and they will have the judges look that over and maybe pay the site a visit.  They bring in their cattle and chickens, show off their home made stuff, and basically compete for those well earned bragging rights.

You don't get more fair than that.  So, what do YOU put into fair competition?
